Question: Can I still access services at this time?
Yes. Your health and safety is of primary importance during this time and thus in-person sessions are not an option. I do offer phone/video sessions (still covered by insurance) which you can access in the comfort of your own home while everyone is self-isolating. Please note that I offer a free 15 minute consultation prior to booking.
Question: What options are available if I am financially struggling due to Covid-19 or I have lost my employment insurance?
This is a very difficult time for individuals and families and I recognize that finances should not impede access to mental health, particularly during times of self-isolation. Please reach out to inquire as to sliding fee options which are available during this tough time. Sliding fee arrangements are also available for those with limited health insurance which may not cover the cost of sessions. Please note that at the present time there will not be a fee charged for cancellations due to illness. Please contact Katrina directly for more information on fee arrangements.
Question: What about child services such as Play Therapy?
Due to the nature of play therapy this is not an option which is available at the present time. I am able to offer parenting support via telephone and video sessions. For older children aged 10+ I am able to offer telephone or video on a case by case basis.
